What I do with your details.
Short version: I collect your first name and email when you ask for something, I email you, and that is it. No adverts, no selling your details to anyone, no tracking cookies.

Who I am
This site is run by Chatbot Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 09225214, of Flat 57 Melwood House, 13 Watney Market, London, E1 2QX. Marton Gaspar is the person behind it. Chatbot Ltd is the data controller, which means it decides what happens to your details and is answerable for it.
Anything at all, write to marton@martongaspar.com.
What I collect, and why
Your first name and email, when you download something from the vault, take the scorecard, or sign up to the newsletter. I use them to send you the thing you asked for and the weekly newsletter. The lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form and confirm your email. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link on every email.
Your scorecard answers and score, if you take the scorecard. I use them to produce your report and to understand which parts of product work people find hardest. Same basis: your consent.
Anonymous usage statistics: which pages get visited and which buttons get pressed. No names, no profiles, no advert networks. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically knowing which pages are worth keeping. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, this is switched off entirely.
Coaching enquiries and client records, if you book a call or work with me. Those are handled under our contract, and under the coaching agreement you sign.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. The analytics are cookieless by design.
One thing is stored in your browser: after you give your email once, the site remembers it locally so it does not ask you again for the next download. It never leaves your browser, and clearing your browser storage removes it. That is the only reason it is there, which is why there is no cookie banner in your way.
Who else touches your details
A small number of suppliers process data on my behalf, under contract, and only to run this site:
- Kit (ConvertKit) sends the emails and holds the subscriber list.
- Notion holds the enquiry and scorecard records.
- PostHog and Umami count page visits, without cookies or personal profiles.
- Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.
- Cal.com handles call bookings, if you book one.
Some of these are based outside the UK, mostly in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum in each supplier's data processing terms. I do not sell your details, and I never pass them to anyone for their own marketing.
How long I keep it
Your name and email stay on the list for as long as you want the newsletter. Unsubscribe and I remove them within 30 days, apart from a note that you unsubscribed, which I keep so you never get added back by mistake.
Scorecard answers are kept for two years, then deleted. Client records are kept for six years after the work ends, because tax law says so.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, hand it over in a portable file, restrict what I do with it, or stop entirely. You can withdraw your consent whenever you like, and that does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
Email marton@martongaspar.com and I will deal with it within one month. No form, no process, just ask.
If you are not happy with how I have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. I would rather you came to me first, but it is your right either way.
If this page changes
The date at the top changes with it. If a change actually affects you, it goes in the newsletter as well, rather than being slipped in here where nobody would see it.
